Nokia 5730 XpressMusic

With the successful launch of the NOkia 5800 XpressMusic, Nokia now goes the opposite direction - after launching a phone with no keys, it launches the 5730 XpressMusic, a phone with A LOT OF KEYS! The Nokia 5730 is the first full QWERTY phone from Nokia that bears a full keypad, allowing you to do more work than just listen to music.

LG Venus

Available in black or pink (weird, because the phone is two tone black and pink!) the LG Venus is all elegance. The phone comes with dual screens, a 2MP camera for photos and video, microSD expansion and Bluetooth. If you’re looking for something rather different from the usual Sony Ericssons and Nokias, the LG Venus is a great dazzling option.

Nokia 8800 Arte

The Nokia 8800 Arte is the latest in Nokia’s fashion line. There are two available units, the Nokia 8800 Arte and the Nokia 8800 Sapphire Arte, with the main difference being that the latter comes with a leather slider. In terms of features, aside from the elegance of both units as fashion phones, the Arte displays a status menu of the time and missed events by tapping the metal bar at the bottom of the screen. The phone also comes with motion sensitive gestures like tilting the phone downwards to turn it to silent mode.

Sony Ericsson C905 Cybershot with 8.1MP and REAL camera flash

Sony Ericsson has coined the Cybershot name into its mobile phones as early as they were confident that the quality of photos matched their point and shoot line. Correct me if I’m wrong but this happened when the autofocus feature was introduced into their cam-phones. Today, SE goes further with their C905 Cybershot that comes with a 8.1MP camera with the real flash you find in today’s modern P&S’s. It also comes with a 2.4 inch screen - that’s a whee bit less of a DSLR’s LCD!

Sony Ericsson TM506

The new TM506 is by itself not a spectacular phone. It does deliver in terms of specs - 2MP camera, HSDPA, GPS, memory stick expansion with 35MB internal memory. These are the usual bells and whistles you’d find in a classic design. The phone isn’t out in the market yet, so what will make you fall in love with this clamshell is its form factor. Sony Ericsson has been pushing their updated real estate for a while, going for a more square look than rounded “egg” shape for their phones.

Sony Ericsson G705

The Sony Ericsson G705 is yet another entry to the 2008 fourth quarter releases of clamshells. The SE G705 comes with a 3.2MP digital camera and HSDPA connectivity for wireless surfing. Huge buttons and a huge screen and the rectangular form factor are added bonuses for people with big hands. This is also one of the few phones of SE that come with built in WiFi, which is a deal breaker for most people.

Sony Ericsson K660: Lime Green on White is my choice!

The Sony Ericsson K660 is a mid range candybar phone that highlights ease of use with the comfortably round buttons and “neoclassic” design with its color scheme (Lime on white, Wine on black, Cyan on black, Silver on black). The K660 has a maximum of 1,000 phone book entries, USB connectivity and HSDPA. It comes with a 2MP camera, 256MB memory stick and 32MB of internal shared memory.

Sony Ericsson W760 Hands On

Sony Ericsson Walkman phones is that the 3.5mm jack is built into a separate connector, and not directly to the phone. I think this defeats the purpose of having a Walkman phone in the first place.
On the good side, the W760 is classic. It’s light, easy to use and packs the same neat tools you can find in other K series phones such as the video ring tones, video editor, music DJ and track ID for recognizing songs.
Released last year, the Sony Ericsson W760 is still a good phone to have as it also supports the latest HSDPA connectivity.

Motorola AURA has 130 precision ball bearings

It’s about time Motorola got into the luxury phone line and this is what they have to show for it. Roll out the red carpet for the Motorola AURA, highlighted by a 130 precision ball bearings to assist the phone’s slider function. Other meticulous design elements include a 62 carat sapphire crystal for the lens for scratch resistance and a main Swiss made bearing in the middle of the phone for “seamless sliding.”

Motorola EM25: A lower end EM30

Lower end needs to be qualified actually. The EM25 is pretty kick ass in terms of features as all it foregoes is the ModeShift design of the EM30 (which can be a pain in the ass at times) and just goes for the no-brainer slider design with one-touch music feature. As a phone, the EM25 comes with a 1.3MP digital camera, Crystal Talk technology, Bluetooth 2.0 and A2DP support, FM Radio, and a 3.5mm jack for plugging in universal headphones.

Flip Design BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 Unveiled

The new BlackBerry Pearl Flip 8220 was unveiled recently. Other than being the first BlackBerry to sport a clamshell design, the new 8220 Flip still pretty much has the same features of previous Pearl models including the SureType QWERTY hybrid. This move was, in my opinion, an aesthetic preserver as the new Flip phone would look fugly if it were wider (full QWERTY). The 8220 comes with a 2.0MP camera and connectivity options has included WiFi onto the roster, so it does make a better impression on the original BlackBerry Pearl.

The LG Shine

LG has unveiled a new phone that unfortunately, will only “Shine” in Korea. The new sleek slider phone comes with 1GB of memory, a 2MP camera and a lot of fashionista attitude that could actually melt the Chocolate.
